Obtained only from flowering organic chestnut trees, this dark, slightly bitter, very complex honey is prized by chefs for savory applications. The color is dark brown to black and it always remains liquid. Not generally suitable for sweeting hot drinks, it is spectacular on meats and aged cheeses such as Ribiola and Pecorino.
ADI Apicoltura uses Nomadic Cultivation - moving the hives from from region to region to find the best organic meadows and fileds. This honey was produced in Calabria - Lombardia – Piemonte.
