This treasure includes one .75 Lt. or .5 ml bottle of Siloro Olio Nuovo and one 250 ml (8.45 oz.) bottle of Cavedoni Botte Piccola Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, Italy. Cavedoni is a 5th generation artisanal producer who crafts his balsamic only from natural ingredients, ages it in small wood barrels and insures there is no caramel or other enhancements often found in lesser quality balsamic. 

This is an exquisite gift of  two Italian food treasures.

Note: If you choose the .75 lt bottle, the bottle of Olio Nuovo pictured is not the bottle we are using this year, instead, the bottle will have the very special 25th Anniversary label, a retro label just like the original from 1999. The Cavedoni Botte Piccola is an authentic Aceto Balsamico di Modena that is aged seven years. It comes with a dosage cap for finishing risotto, meats, cheese and other fine Italian foods.  It has a nice natural viscosity with a good balance between sweetness and acidity. 

The olio nuovo is exquisite this year. There was very little rain in Umbria all year resulting in very small olives that are very intense in flavor. No rain also means no mosca, the nasty fly that deposits its larva in the olives. Pure and intense oil.
