The olio nuovo this year is amazing. There was very little rain in Umbria this year (actually in all of Italy). This produced very small olives that have very little but very intense oil. Small yield. Big flavor.

The best Olio nuevo
From the first time Casa de Case made this Olio Nuovo available, I have been ordered it--for myself and for friends each year when it becomes available. I think it sublime! And other items on the Casa de Case list are also first-rate: try their high-end balsamic vinegar and their anchovies.

The best Olive Oil available
I've been ordering olio nuovo for many years for friends and for myself. It's outstanding: even good on toast in the mornings. Whether salads or some complex main course, the flavor it imparts is the best I've ever tasted.
