It's Our 25th Anniversary!

It has been 25 years since we introduced Olio Nuovo to America. We first flew-in just-crushed olive oil in 1999, and we have done so every year since. To celebrate or aniversary, we have reproduced the original bottle label from 1999 and we have created a new custom gift box for the Anniversary Edition. It is not only very nostalgic, it is also very cool! We hope you will love it.

This Year's Oil

Kris & Howard were fortunate enough to be in Umbria at frantoio Olivestri on the very 1st day of crush! It was thrilling.

The oil this year is absolutly amazing! Why? It was extremely dry this year in Umbria (actually, in all of Italy). This produced very small olives, but they produced very intense, flavorful oil. The flip-side is that they didn't give up much oil. Low yield = great oil, = more expensive oil.

Casa de Case is one of the only sources in the United States of true Italian olio nuovo.

We fly it in direct from Frantoio Olivestri in Umbria as soon as it is crushed.All of our olio nuovo is completely unfiltered.

All of Italy celebrates the olio nuovo with festivals in the frantoio (olive mill), and bottles of the intense oil appear in every restaurant.
