latteria-soresina-logo-2.jpgIn continuous operation since 1900, Latteria Soresina is the largest producer of Grana Padano in the world. The company is a consortium of 200 dairy farmers, all located within a few kilometers of the plant, insuring the freshest daily delivery of milk. The great strength of the company is their complete control over every aspect of the operation – from feeding and caring for the cows, two times daily milk delivery to the caseificio (cheese making plant), aging the cheese in their own cantina di invecchiamento (aging barn) and final delivery to their customers. Located outside Cremona in the heart of the Po River plain, the company is a perfect equilibrium between tradition and modernity, and between experience and innovation. This allows Latteria Soresina to deliver the very highest quality cheeses, steeped in old‐world flavor, at extremely competitive prices. In 1925 they were the first to export cheese to the USA, and in 1954 they were one of the founding members of the Grana Padano Consortium. Casa de Case purchases all its hard cow’s milk cheeses directly from Latteria Soresina, insuring the freshest products of consistent quality.  

Soresina has a separate division that produces D.O.P. Parmigiano-Reggiano from ten families located in the D.O.P. region surrounding Parma.  We are proud to represent them as one of the best producers of these two famous Italian Cheeses.
